Bates National Dressage Championships 2014
Future International Sporthorses (F.I.S) had a great performance at the National Dressage Championships this year. Three horses travelled down to Fielding to compete; PR Ragazzo (Ricky) Stoneylea Lord Locksley (Locky) and FIS Florentino (Reece). The team performed outstandingly and took out two national titles in very tough classes. FIS Florentino won the Aztec Trophy for the Bates Level 1 Champion and FIS Stoneylea Lord Locksley took out the Best Performed Hanoverian - Level 1 to 3 Award, the Killala Trophy for the Bates Level 2 Champion and placed 2nd in the 6yr Old Young Horse Class on 72.89%. It was also really exciting to hear great comments about Locky from the International Judges in the young horse class.

The C1 - C4 champion was Louise Ayres on Playmate [Sire: Dream Boy, Dam: Stoneylea Gay Countess] (owned by Cindy Kent who rode for New Zealand at the 1998 World Games in Rome on Playskool).
